A Quartet of Anniversaries on Sept 13th!

This weekend was absolutely unique - we had four guests, all of whom were celebrating wedding anniversaries. We had a two year, nine year, 14 year and 23 year. What a first!! Here they are celebrating their special occasion at the Inn on Montford.

Greg and Debbie McLeod of Durham, NC (left) were celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary, while Judy and Roy Bream of Matthews, NC (right) were celebrating their 14th.

Mark and Jill Rochelson of Knoxville, TN (left) were celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary, while Chris and Dawn Losinger of Raleigh, NC were celebrating their second anniversary. We wish all four couples the best for the future and thank them for making this weekend so unique!

They're engaged!

On Saturday, August 29th, Richard Ray of Clarksville, TN proposed to Kerry O'Keeffe, and she accepted! Kerry thought that they were at the Inn simply to celebrate his birthday, so the proposal came as a total surprise. We wish them well!

Newlyweds at the Inn

Late in the evening of August 16th, Steve and Debra Kramer arrived to spend their honeymoon at the Inn on Montford. Their three day stay has included hiking, visiting Biltmore and a delightful meal at Gabrielle's restaurant. We wish them all the best and hope to see them soon.

A pair of 10th Wedding Anniversaries

The weekend of August 15th brought two couples to the inn, both celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. Ron and René Fizer of Anniston, AL (on the left) and Greg and Janiece Johnson of Lithonia, GA (on the right).

A Thirtieth Birthday Celebration

On July 26th, Mike and Sara Callaghan stayed with us. The occasion was Sara's 30th birthday. Reluctantly, she agreed to be photographed. They had a relaxing rest from their work in Charlotte, NC. Sorry, Sara,  for the delay in getting the pictures on the Internet; the webmaster has been traveling extensively.

July 10th - a great coincidence

The weekend of July 10th we were pleased to have as our guests Nancy and Mike Jones, from St. Paul, MN. Nancy and Mike are doing a tour of the south and spent two nights in our Fitzgerald Room. It was a great coincidence as F. Scott Fitzgerald once lived in their house. Click here for pictures of this exciting house.

39th Wedding Anniversary

Another last minute reservation, Karen and  "Wink" Bowman stayed with us July 11th and 12th and celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. They escaped the heat of Augusta, GA to relax in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We wish them all the best.You can click on their picture to see a larger version. Be patient while it loads.

20th Wedding Anniversary

Kathy and David Poteete arrived "at a moment's notice" to spend their 20th Anniversary at the Inn on June 29th. Again, Gabrielle's Restaurant at Richmond Hill was the choice for their special dinner. Unfortunately, it was a one night visit, so they made plans to return to visit us in mid-September. 32nd Wedding Anniversary

Well, this week we are "splitting the difference" with Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Garner from Boone, NC celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary on June 13th. For the third week in a row the choice of restaurants was Gabrielle's at Richmond Hill.

We wish the Garner's all the best for a further 32 years. Click on their picture to see a larger version and yes, it does take a little time to load.

25th Wedding Anniversary

Well, the anniversary guests keep coming! This time it's Rick and Sue Smith from Montgomery, AL who are celebrating their 25th anniversary on June 7th. Again, Gabrielle's Restaurant at Richmond Hill was their choice for dinner.

45th Wedding Anniversary

Wayne and Barbara Allan from Peachtree City, GA are celebrating their 45th Anniversary today, May 30th. Last night it was an informal dinner on Pack Square. Tonight they'll dine at Gabrielle's Restaurant at the Richmond Hill Inn after a celebration champagne toast.

The Guest who Couldn't Stay!

John and Irene Muthe, frequent guests at the Inn, are the proud owners of two new Scotties. They brought the black Scottie, Duncan, over to the Inn on their way back home.
