The Inn is located in the heart of the Montford Historic District, just 8/10 mile north of downtown and 8 minutes from Biltmore Estate.

If you are approaching from the East, you will be traveling on I-40. You will leave I-40 at Exit 53B, signposted I-240, Downtown Asheville. Stay on I-240 until Exit 4C, signposted Montford Avenue. At the light, take a right onto Montford Avenue, We are 3/4 mile on the left, #296.

If you are approaching from the West, you will be traveling on I-40. Leave I-40 at Exit 46B, a left hand exit signposted I-240 Asheville. Stay on I-240 until Exit 4C, signposted Montford Avenue. At the light, turn right onto Haywood Street. Go to the next light (a block and a half). Turn right onto Montford Avenue. We are 3/4 mile on the left, #296.

If you are approaching from the South, you will be on I-26. I-26 becomes I-240 as it crosses over I-40. Stay on I-240, leaving at Exit 4C. Turn right onto Haywood Street. At the first light, turn right onto Montford Avenue. We are #296.

If you are approaching from the North on I-26, you will leave I-26 at Exit 25, signposted University of North Carolina Asheville. At the light, turn left onto Broadway. Go to the third light. Turn right onto Chestnut Street. You will see a Five Points Diner on your left before making your turn. Proceed thru two flashing yellow lights and at the first stop light, turn right onto Montford Avenue. We are 4/10 mile on the left, #296.

Turn into the driveway, proceed to the parking area behind the Inn. If you are staying in the Cloisters, Rossetti, Wm Morris or Zelda’s Retreat, park in the named space; otherwise park in any numbered space, come around to the front door, ring the bell, and we’ll be there to check you in.
