First let me say that as of December 2017, Ron and Lynn will no longer be the owners of this property. However, their wonderful late afternoon/evening hostess, Donna, said the new owners recognize it’s a successful business model and are planning on following the current format. I was also extremely pleased to hear they are retaining the current staff whose experience will be invaluable in helping to maintain a top-notch B&B.
That being said, from the moment I made my reservation, communication was ongoing and informative. They made sure I knew where to park, inquired on my arrival time and also made sure I didn’t have any special dietary needs or restrictions. This is my third Asheville B&B in the Montford area and by far my favorite. The little details in their approach pushed them over the top.
My welcome was very detailed and informative, covering the sunroom and other house amenities, social events and my room amenities. From tea delivery outside my door in a quilted “cozy” each morning, to the towel warmers in the bathroom and the delightful, generous basket of continental breakfast goodies I received due to my leaving early my last day, my stay was extremely memorable. I also appreciated the darkness of my room, The O’Henry. It was so cozy and quaint. I felt totally relaxed, taken care of and at home.
The entire Inn was extremely clean and in great shape, the staff was helpful, warm and inviting, the food was delicious and all areas of service was top-notch.
It’s obvious Ron and Lynn take great pride in a job well-done, as does the rest of their staff. It has become my B&B of choice in Asheville.
